The mission of the ELS has been to proclaim "Jesus Christ and Him crucified" for the salvation of souls, and to preserve the teachings of God's Word in truth and purity.

The Evangelical Lutheran Synod continues to believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is infallible. It is the only sure rule and guide for teaching in the church and for an individual Christian's life. The Bible is the only authority.

The Evangelical Synod (ELS) is in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. (WELS)

History of Grace

Lutheran Church

Grace Lutheran Church was founded in 1917 in Vero Beach, FL. In 1976, Grace was accepted into the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. 

Grace is now worshipping in its third sanctuary, and has just finished a building project to add on an educational building. This building will mostly be used for Gracie's Preschool.

This past November, Grace celebrated their 90th Anniversary.
